InstallationMasters™, prompted by the Building Environment and Thermal Envelope Council (BETEC) through the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) and development by the American Architectural Manufacturers Association (AAMA), is a nationwide training and certifications program for new construction and replacement windows and doors.

Project teams must be able to retrieve the right information at and when it’s needed. Having a centralized digital platform where projects are monitored and tracked is critical. This field-to-office flow keeps things on-time and within budget.

US GLASS & GLAZING’s expertise in design, engineering, and fabrication of custom facade systems has involved them in commercial projects like the UCF Comm Building, Cecil SpaceForce Control Tower and offices, Americano Resorts, Peck Plaza, Mosiac, and Latitude Margaritaville. Their staff of highly trained project managers, glazers and fabricators are able to tackle even the most complex projects with precision and quality.

US GLASS will source all the raw materials, the glass, the extrusions, et cetera and then go through a heavy submittal process with the owner, engineer and architect to achieve a successful outcome.

Controlling the submittal process is a key element to the success. Equally important is controlling and tracking the project’s financials. Everything must be in sync, the finding, bidding, submitting, ordering, receiving, staging, installing, tracking and testing.

As projects become more aesthetically striking and complex - proper training and communication is even more critical. These two elements are now and will ever be, the keystone of a successful outcome.

WINDOWS & DOORS SINCE 1925

Charles H Barrett, a native of England, came to the United States to take charge of laying out Central Park in New York City. Mr. Barrett was a surveyor and was in the employ of the United States government for fourteen years. In late 1882 he came to the Ashtabula Harbor on the Great Lakes and had charge of a government project for two years. His youngest son, Lawrence Marshall started a glass and glazing business in Ashtabula around 1925. He served in the community, sponsored a baseball team and was a member of the gun club. His business tragically ended in 1936 after he was killed in a train accident. His oldest son Charles, twelve at the time, grew up, joined the Navy, worked in oil and gas then in windows for his oldest son Chip. Chip's son Nathan now runs the glass company. Nathan began picking up trash and helping the installers after school and on weekends which continued through college. After graduation with a degree in business administration he is now both GM and VP making four generations of glazers.

We specialize in quality top rated windows and doors and install them in harsh coastal hurricane environments. Our market includes large estate homes, high-rise condominiums, hotels, military base upgrades, airport control towers, assisted living, and historical restorations. We are licensed, bonded and insured and our coverage area includes all of Florida and the surrounding states.
